Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Rockford, IL to directly supervise warehouse personnel and coordinate all distribution center functions. You will lead continuous improvement projects to achieve high safety, production, and quality standards.

You will manage labor/equipment plans, recruit and develop Distribution Associates, and collaborate with the team to meet objectives and uphold world-class service levels for customers. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering or related field.
• Distribution or manufacturing experience required; engineering/mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and change management.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills: Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor/equipment plans for a functional area to meet production objectives with safety, quality, productivity, and service.
• Direct management of Distribution Associates including recruiting, hiring, training and development; conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching.
