Group O, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in Rock Island, IL. You will manage a team, ensure accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, and maintain safety compliance to support company goals.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; preferred bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience or equivalent
• 6+ months of material handling / forklift experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
• Effective communication and people skills
• Ability to work in a demanding environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control.
• Provide training to employees in Work instructions, Equipment operation, and Safety.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and supplies, arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any operational issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and productivity metrics.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
