Job summary

Mobis Alabama LLC is seeking a Warehouse Training Specialist to lead the initial and ongoing training of warehouse personnel. You will create training documents, SOPs, and lead orientations, seminars, and on-floor training exercises to ensure personnel obtain required certificates such as PIV licenses.

The role involves on-floor responsibilities with occasional office work to develop training documentation and maintain 5S housekeeping standards, emphasizing safety and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and problem solving abilities.
• PIV Experience (Forklift, High Reach, Order Picker).
• RF Scanner experience is required.
• Warehouse Operation Systems experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent, plus two years of distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs.
• Develop and maintain training materials for a dynamic working environment.
• Trains and certifies team members to safely use a variety of PIV equipment.
• Effectively communicate company processes and procedures to team members.
• Create and maintain a positive working environment that enhances team spirit.
• Coach, counsel, and provide guidance and on-the-job-training to Team Members.
• Communicate with Team Members concerning expectations, performance, and any changes.
• Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization.
• Ensure that all work is performed within specification.
• Maintain housekeeping to 5S standards.
• Conduct or participate in team and safety meetings, and promote safety within the workplace.
• Prompt, regular, predictable attendance.
• Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.
• All other job duties as assigned.
