NOTS Logistics in Lebanon, TN, is seeking a Warehouse Trainer to provide instruction and training to new hires and all assigned associates. The role requires shift coverage Mon-Fri 6:45am-2:45pm, with additional OT as deemed by management.

You will develop staff, conduct competency evaluations, and ensure compliance with HR and Safety Policies while maintaining a professional, positive attitude and workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Training experience onboarding new employees.
  • Ability to evaluate competency via evaluations.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and HR compliance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA 1910.178 for powered industrial trucks.
  • Maintain professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and training to New Hires in the department.
  • Review Work Instructions with New Employees.
  • Ensure employees are competent via Competency Evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with HR and Safety Policies.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • Assist with training on Powered Industrial Trucks per OSHA standards.
  • Adhere to 5S and housekeeping in the facility.
  • Lead by example and coach team members.
  • Conduct audits in Repack and Order Fulfillment when training isn’t taking place.

Position Summary:

To provide instruction and training to New Hires and all assigned associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for training and developing New Hires assigned to their department.
  • Review all Work Instructions applicable to your department with New Employees.
  • Make sure employees are competent at their Job Task by completing a Competency Evaluation.
  • Ensure employees are in compliance with Company HR and Safety Policies.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • If assigned to train employees on Powered Industrial Trucks, must meet OSHA Standards outlined in section 1910.178.
  • Responsible for compliance with warehouse housekeeping and 5S procedures at all times while in the facility.
  • Adhere to the NLGA Code of Ethics and Business Conduct at all times. Acts as a representative of NOTS Logistics and TNA at all times while on duty.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business needs
  • Conduct audits in Repack and Order Fulfillment when New Hire Training isn't taking place
