Job summary

NRI Distribution in Henderson, NV is seeking a Trainer to lead and coordinate training for our warehouse team. You will deliver SOPs, safety practices, and best-in-class training experiences, acting as a mentor to new employees and promoting team spirit across shifts.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English), comfortable with Microsoft 365, and able to adapt training to varied learning styles while maintaining high standards of safety and engagement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months of training experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a MUST

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates training for a new hire and existing NRI employees to ensure training is delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to meet and exceed required performance metrics.
• Aid in creating training programs by assessing skill/knowledge gaps and training objectives, and supporting continuous improvement projects.
• Exhibit and practice positive communications and team-building skills with trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment.
• Maintains training logs and documentation; ensures safety policies are followed.
• Keeps work and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
• Support internal opportunities and staff programs as needed.

The Must Haves:

• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
• Must be bilingual

• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities tothe supervisor or and Safety Manager
• Maintain a training log and all training documentation
• Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
• Performs other duties as requested
