Job summary

NRI 3PL is hiring a Training specialist to lead onboarding and ongoing development for warehouse staff in Fontana, CA. You will deliver engaging sessions, mentor new hires, and foster NRI team spirit through effective SOP-based training.

The role emphasizes active listening, adaptability to learners, and a constructive feedback approach. 12+ months training experience and bilingual Spanish/English are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months of training experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Must be proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a MUST
• Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk/stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and tolerate dust, heat, noise, and other conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates training for a new hire and existing NRI employees to ensure training is delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to meet and exceed required performance metrics.
• Aid in creating training programs by assessing skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, and SOP changes.
• Exhibit and practice positive communications and team-building with trainees.
• Comply with safety policies and report unsafe activities to the supervisor or Safety Manager.
• Maintain a training log and all training documentation.
• Keep work and storage areas safe, clean, and tidy at all times.
• Performs other duties as requested.

The ideal candidate is an accessible and approachable individual who is an active listener and has the creativity to explain topics in a fun and engaging way. This person is patient and can adapt their training delivery style according to how the learners are responding.

The Following Schedule Are Available For This Role

Monday- Friday: 1:30pm-10:00pm

Starting Pay

$22.00/hour (Includes $1.00 differential)

The Must Haves:

• Must have 12+ months of training experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Must be proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a MUST
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

• Providesand coordinates training for a new hireand existingNRI employeesto ensuretraining is delivered andevaluated for consistency
• Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to not only meet but exceed requiredperformance metrics
• Aidsin creating training programs by assessingskill/knowledge gaps, training objectives,work situations, changes in trainingSOP’s along withcontinuous improvement projects
• Exhibit and practice positive communications and team-building skills with trainees to ensurea consistently professional environment
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities tothe supervisor or and Safety Manager
• Maintain a training log and all training documentation
• Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy conditionat all times
• Performs other duties as requested
