Job summary

Dot Foods Inc. in Bear, DE is seeking a Warehouse Lead who will train, monitor, and evaluate staff, record training records, and actively participate in loading, unloading, picking and receiving.

You will safely operate material handling equipment, coach coworkers, implement lean improvements, and contribute to a safe, collaborative environment. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and requires experience with counter balance and reach trucks.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication abilities required.
  • Experience operating counter balance and reach trucks.
  • Leadership and coaching experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently utilize warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Train staff to use warehouse management systems.
  • Educate personnel in safe and efficient use of equipment and supplies.
  • Serve as coach and mentor; foster teamwork and positivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Bear, DE

Department: Warehouse

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Wage Range: $28.50 - $31.25/hour

Provide hands‑on leadership in the warehouse by training, monitoring, and evaluating assigned personnel. Record keeping of all training records. Frequent participation in loading, unloading, picking and receiving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Safely and efficiently utilize warehouse material handling equipment
  • Train assigned personnel to accurately and consistently use warehouse management systems
  • Train assigned personnel in safe and efficient use of material handling equipment and supplies
  • Serve as a coach and mentor; Smile a lot; Be a good co-worker; Inspire others
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by using lean tools to eliminate in all areas of the position
  • Other duties as assigned
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience on counter balance and reach trucks
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior experience in an environment that promotes safety
  • Leadership experience
ROLE SPECIFICS
  • Schedule: 3x12 Nights - Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 6pm-6am
