Job summary

Avera is seeking a Supply Chain Warehouse Technician in Sioux Center to support warehouse and distribution operations, manage inventory, fulfill orders, and coordinate shipments. You will use Workday, Tecsys, and handheld devices to ensure accurate, efficient material flow and maintain safety and service excellence.

This role requires 1–3 years in inventory control or related fields, with daily tasks including receiving, storage, and cycle counts to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain operations or related field.
• Experience with handheld devices and warehouse technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unloads, inspects, and verifies inbound freight shipments against purchase orders and packing slips; reports discrepancies and processes receipts in inventory systems.
• Stores, organizes, and replenishes inventory while maintaining rotation and product integrity.
• Performs cycle counts and periodic inventories to maintain accurate perpetual records.
• Picks, packs, and fulfills customer requisitions using warehouse management systems and handheld tech.
• Coordinates interfacility transfers, deliveries, and urgent supply requests to ensure product availability.
• Prepares outbound shipments, generates shipping documentation and labels; coordinates shipments with carriers.
• Loads/unloads and transports inventory using material handling equipment.
• Maintains warehouse organization, storage locations, cleanliness, and safety per standards.
• Monitors inventory conditions, expiration dates, and assists with disposition and recalls.
• Complies with safety standards and regulations; supports continuous improvement and internal/external service.
