Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to ensure accurate receipt, verification, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies. You will maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts and support perpetual inventory systems across clinical and non-clinical areas.

Responsibilities include replenishing par levels, responding to urgent supply requests, and collaborating with clinical teams to ensure timely availability of critical items.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year of inventory control or supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Create requisitions to refill par locations and restock shelves.
• Accurately pick and dispense inventory from ERP and deliver within 24–48 hours.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to audit perpetual inventory accuracy.
• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming freight and log discrepancies.
• Deliver supplies to departments daily and prepare shipping labels as needed.
• Assist with periodic physical inventory counts.
