Job summary

Paycom - ATS Moorpark, CA is seeking a Warehouse Technician II to perform high-volume warehouse tasks including order pulling, receiving, shipping, labeling, and training teammates. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team orientation are essential as you cover multiple areas of operations.

Responsibilities include accurate order picking and shipping, adherence to 5S, OSHA/EH&S guidelines, and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion.
Forklift certification and training for all types.
Knowledge of OSHA and EH&S requirements.
2+ years warehouse operations experience, preferably from industrial, electronics assembly, or aerospace and defense distribution disciplines.
Experience with creating statements of work (SOW).
Experience in inventory management systems, preferably in a chemical or industrial setting.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software.
Ability to read/write in English is required
Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred).

Responsibilities

High accuracy in order picking, shipping and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
5S: sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain.
Cross training other employees as required.
Operate equipment per safety SOPs and SOPs/SOWs.
Follow DOT regulations and OSHA/EH&S guidelines.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Indirectly responsible for product quality.
Other duties as assigned.
