Job summary

TestEquity LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a Warehouse Technician I to perform order pulling, receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, and inventory tracking. The role requires forklift operation and HazMat awareness, with 2+ years of warehousing experience in an industrial setting.

Candidate must be able to maintain accurate inventory counts, adhere to safety protocols, and work well with carriers to meet on-time delivery. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and able to pass background checks.
• HazMat certification or willingness to complete training within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years warehousing experience in industrial, semiconductor, or distribution settings.
• Experience with TWL/WMS and RF gun preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Computer literacy with MS Word and basic shipping/receiving software.

Responsibilities

• Accurate order pulling, packing, shipping, and receiving of materials (hazardous and non-hazardous).
• Prepare freight bills and monitor accuracy of completion.
• Coordinate with freight carriers for safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery.
• Ensure orders ship to correct customer locations and maintain FIFO inventory counts.
• Maintain bin locations, shelf life, and cycle counts; support ISO quality assurance.
• Operate safely with forklift and maintain safety equipment; follow HazMat/DOT guidelines where applicable.
• Report incidents and participate in warehouse safety and training.

Job description

Summary/Purpose of the Position:

The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion
• Works closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest, and most economical on-time delivery of products
• Ensures orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill rates
• Monitors bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts
• Must maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operations
• Must maintain valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CRF 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicable
• Must follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving products
• Assist with ISO quality assurance
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety
• Must facilitate two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfaction
• Must wear appropriate safety gear while on duty
• Must monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse area
• Maintain a good attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required
• 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry
• Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred)
• 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation
• HazMat Certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire
• May be required to possess a valid driver's license and be subject to periodic DMV checks

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
