The Warehouse Technician is responsible for all warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow to support both the service and installation teams. This role ensures technicians start each day properly stocked and prepared, warranty processes are handled efficiently and accurately, and vendor relationships are maintained to keep parts and equipment flowing without interruption. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has deep knowledge of HVAC parts and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare materials, filters, and parts for service and install technicians each morning before dispatch
- Restock service and install trucks from warehouse inventory on a scheduled and as-needed basis
- Manage inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock tracking in ServiceTitan
- Order parts and materials from vendors, including warranty replacement equipment, and track delivery status
- Process and manage all warranty paperwork, claims, and returns in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse at all times
- Build and maintain working relationships with local HVAC vendors, supply houses, and distributors
- Coordinate with service and install teams daily to ensure job readiness and address urgent parts needs
- Utilize ServiceTitan for inventory management, parts ordering, and tracking
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accountability within warehouse operations
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition; document and report discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of HVAC warehouse experience required
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC parts, equipment, and systems — ability to identify parts by name and function
- Hands‑on experience using ServiceTitan required- Minimum of 2 years
- Proven ability to manage inventory and warehouse operations in a high‑volume environment
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technicians and leadership
- Established relationships with local HVAC vendors and supply houses preferred
- Experience improving warehouse processes and accountability systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license required; occasional parts runs or vendor pickups may be needed
Tools and Equipment
The HVAC Warehouse Technician will use ServiceTitan as the primary platform for inventory tracking, parts ordering, and warranty processing. Standard warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks may be required. Familiarity with HVAC‑specific supply and distribution systems is expected.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, parts, and materials up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for the majority of the shift
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment subject to varying temperatures
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach shelving at various heights
