Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Technician in West Palm Beach, FL to handle shipping, receiving, and inventory of Natural Gas materials and meters. You will verify orders, prepare routine paperwork, operate equipment, and maintain accurate records using our proprietary software.

This role requires a valid Florida driver's license, ability to lift heavy items, forklift and pallet jack proficiency, and comfort working as part of a team with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Willingness to obtain first aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to write legibly and perform routine paperwork.
• Capable of heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and counts with records and verify against bills.
• Maintain department database and file shipping/receiving records in proprietary software.
• Prepare routine administrative paperwork for materials received.
• Verify order accuracy and process returns.
• Oversee inventory of Natural Gas materials/meters.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack and load/unload supplies; assist in maintenance.
