Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation in Doral, Florida, is seeking a Distribution Tech I LM to support a team handling meter sets, load calculations, and outage coordination. The role emphasizes lead activities on larger, more complex meters and reliable maintenance.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and preferred 6 years in the natural gas industry with possible excavation certification. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 6 years: Natural gas industry experience (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License (CDL may be required depending on vehicle assignment).
• Excavation Equipment certification may be required.
• High School Grad / GED (required).

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties associated with Distribution Tech 2 Position.
• Acts as the lead when working larger, more complex meter, regulator and relief values.
• Performs complex corrosion and leak repairs on large and industrial meter sets.
• Obtains load calculations of customers equipment; works with customer to schedule outages to repair or replace large meter sets.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
