Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation in the United States is seeking a Distribution Tech 2 to support our gas distribution operations. You will perform duties related to meter sets, regulators and relief values, while prioritizing safety and reliability.

The job requires a High School/GED, a valid driver’s license, and excavation equipment certification may be required. Preference for 6 years of natural gas industry experience.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• Valid Driver's License ( CDL may be required depending on vehicle assignment ).
• Excavation Equipment certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties associated with Distribution Tech 2 Position.
• Acts as the lead when working larger, more complex meter, regulator and relief values.
• Performs complex corrosion and leak repairs on large and industrial meter sets.
• Obtains load calculations of customers equipment.
• Works with customer to schedule outages to repair or replace large meter sets.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
