Plug Power Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support warehousing, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. You will organize materials, communicate with internal and external customers, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

The role requires accuracy, flexibility, and safety awareness. Candidates should have a high school diploma and proficiency with Microsoft Office; inventory systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Load trucks and label shipping information.

• Conduct inventory control and accurate recordkeeping.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Communicate with shipping/receiving coordinators and suppliers.
• Use Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting.

Warehouse TechnicianStatus: Non-exempt (hourly)Department: Direct warehouse laborPosition SummaryThe Warehouse Technician will be responsible for a range of activities within the warehousing, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment sections of our production operation. The position requires the organization of a wide range of materials, and communication with an array of internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, strong attention to detail, the ability to competently respond to direction and meet scheduling demands, and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position, including the operation of electric and manual pallet jacks.
