Job summary

DAP is seeking Warehouse Technicians for our Baltimore Distribution Center to support order fulfillment and inventory control. You will operate RF scanners, build pallets, and help maintain a safe, clean workplace while meeting daily shipping goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate a walkie-rider and pallet jack after training.
• Ability to operate RF scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire scheduled shift.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Read information from the Manhattan system using RF scanners to pull cases of finished goods.
• Build pallets according to DAP standards for layout, labeling, wrapping and loading.
• Maintain accurate inventory with RF devices, counts, and reporting discrepancies and damaged product.
• Assist in physical inventories
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow DC policies and safety rules.
• Keep areas clean and organized and support other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanner and unit to read information from the Manhattan system to pull cases of finished goods from the designated bin location
• Build pallets according to DAP standards in terms of layout, pallet requirements, labeling, wrapping and loading
• Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory through proper utilization of RF devices, accurate counts, and recording/reporting of all discrepancies and damaged product.
• Assist in physical inventories
• Maintains a safe work environment ensuring that all DC policies and practices are followed.
• Upholds an acceptable level of housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
• Abides by all DC safety rules and regulations
• Works in other areas as required by business needs

Pay Rate

Starting at $18.74/hr
