Compensation

Starting Base Pay: $17.16/hour + Weekly Production Bonus

Production Bonus

The Production Bonus percentage varies, determined by achieving production goals weekly. It is paid out weekly.

Example: Hourly Base Rate = $17.16, Weekly Production Bonus = 45%. Total Hourly Rate = $24.88

Profit-Sharing

10% of Nucor’s pre-tax earnings are contributed annually to the Profit Sharing Plan, distributed to eligible teammates. A larger portion goes into your profit-sharing account, with a smaller cash distribution. The current 6-year average contribution is 19.88% of eligible earnings, including regular pay, overtime, and bonuses.
