Overview

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking Warehouse employees to join our distribution center team in Smithton, PA. We are hiring Full Time opportunities!

Shifts

2nd: Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm / 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Positions Available

• Processing Teammate: $17.50/hr + $1.00/hr
• Material Handler: $18.50/hr + $1.00/hr
• Special Equipment Operator: $19.15/hr + $1.00/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload, load, stage, and warehouse cartons, practicing safe procedures and proper material handling for maximum productivity.
• Operate manual and mechanical equipment safely according to procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and report errors to the supervisor.
• Verify purchase orders, location numbers, case pack quantities, and other info before receiving, picking, or loading merchandise.
• Determine pallet placement based on box size and product.
• Practice safe handling and distribute merchandise properly in accordance with standards.
• Perform system spot checks to ensure proper sorting.

Qualifications

• Achieve equipment operator certification on the job.
• Be willing to be trained and operate RF scanning equipment.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift 10-50 pounds repeatedly.
• Keep pace with production standards.
• Basic reading and numerical skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
