Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Conroe, TX seeks a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately process receiving, transfers, picks, packs and ships using RF scanning and WMS systems. You will load and unload batteries, restock inventory, and ensure a safe, organized workspace while maintaining accurate warehouse reporting.

Expect to operate a forklift with current certification, tag pallets, and perform general duties across the warehouse.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
No experience required.
Experience in warehouse operations preferred, including RF equipment, forklift, pallet jack and stretch-wrap machines.

Responsibilities

Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
Load and unload batteries.
Restock batteries.
Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification.
Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship).
General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas).
Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task.
Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
