Job description

Working within our Production Facility, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe storage and movement of materials/finished goods within the warehouse and production facility. Ensure accurate issuing, picking, and packing of materials/finished goods to internal departments and external customers.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all materials received are stored in accordance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
2. Record and maintain all relevant computer and administrative activities concerning stock movement.
3. Liaise with the Purchasing & Production Control teams as required.
4. Assist within RS stores & Goods Inwards upon request.
5. Provide holiday/sickness cover within the department.
6. Escalate any defects found in equipment or plant to the appropriate personnel for action.
7. Maintain knowledge of current quality standards and procedures.
8. Hold a current Fork Lift Truck Certificate.
9. Ensure the correct and safe movement and storage of components, sub-assemblies, or finished products received into the department.
10. Contribute to process and quality improvements.
11. Maintain effective communication within the department and with others to achieve company objectives.
12. Adhere to health & safety procedures and relevant legislation.
13. Assist with process/system changes within the department.
14. Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
15. Demonstrate flexibility and perform additional duties as directed by the department manager.
16. Participate in stock-taking activities.
