Job summary

Save A Lot is seeking a supervisor to direct hourly associates in receiving, storing, and shipping goods in our Indiana operation. You will ensure sanitation, safety, and policy compliance while directing daily activities and providing ongoing coaching and orientation for new hires.

You’ll observe performance, manage inventory accuracy across dry and perishable warehouses, and maintain clear documentation on attendance, productivity, and safety incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years supervisory experience; three years in a production environment preferred.
• Food distribution production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift employees and communicate daily about shift expectations and safety.
• Observe performance and provide feedback on methods, productivity, and safety habits.
• Maintain open lines of communication and relay general company information.
• Listen to and follow up on employee questions, requests, and complaints to foster a positive environment.
• Conduct daily inventory counts in dry grocery and perishable warehouses and adjust as needed to balance inventory.
• Ensure order production procedures and pay-for-performance policies are fairly enforced.
• Provide orientation and training to new associates.
• Direct receiving, storage, and shipping activities to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain required documentation for attendance, productivity, safety, and sanitation.
