Vallen Distribution is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate to receive, handle, stock, record, and dispatch goods in our distribution center. You will support leadership with work assignments, training, and mentoring of colleagues.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and strong accuracy in data and inventory management. This is a full-time on-site position with ample advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, work orders and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer skills and aptitude to learn software systems.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Strong math and ability to compile routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor others in receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Assist leadership with daily work delegation and scheduling.
• Process shipments and load orders per schedules and orders.
• Unload, inspect, and store incoming goods; check for damage.
• Sort, label, and store items; optimize space and inventory.
• Enter data into stock systems and respond to inquiries on inventories.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
