Job summary

Vallen's Warehouse/Distribution Center Manager leads warehouse staff responsible for receiving, unloading, inspecting, picking, packing, and shipping goods, while monitoring productivity and inventory accuracy to ensure quality customer service for all Vallen customers.

You will enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance, set daily goals, collaborate with Purchasing to ensure merchandise availability, and drive continuous process improvements and lean initiatives across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related business experience and warehouse leadership experience.
• Strong computer proficiency and aptitude to learn applications; WMS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehousing functions and ability to read safety rules and work orders.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: hiring, coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Set daily productivity targets; drive a positive culture and optimize resources.
• Support sales growth through customer service and supply chain solutions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure merchandise availability.
• Oversee safety, processes, and space utilization; lead lean initiatives.
