Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead in the Lenoir, NC area to oversee the warehouse team and ensure efficient, accurate order fulfillment.

You will manage workloads, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety procedures while leveraging SAP and WMS systems for daily operations. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a warehouse setting, 1 year SAP experience, and proven ability to coach a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvements.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and provide support to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain 7S program and a clean environment.
