Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a lead to oversee a warehouse team, ensuring inventory accuracy, on-time order fulfillment, and safe operations. You will assign tasks, train staff, and coach performance while using our warehouse management systems and SAP.

This role requires at least 2 years in warehousing, 1 year SAP experience, and familiarity with WMS and handheld scanners. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide development opportunities; recommend performance improvements as needed.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain proper work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
