Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Lead in Indiana to coach and train warehouse teams, support shipping/receiving, and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role includes overseeing tasks, performing PIT equipment duties, and backing up supervisors as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in warehouse operations, 6+ months in a leadership role, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it. A strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates on daily tasks and safety.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and move materials as needed.
• Complete shipping, receiving, labeling and paperwork per SOPs.
• Support inventory checks, cycle counts and write-up variances.
• Provide backup to supervisors and assist other warehouse roles as needed.
