Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks a warehouse supervisor/lead to manage receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and inventory control. You will guide associates, train teams, enforce safety, and ensure timely processing of orders and materials to support production schedules.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in warehouse roles, knowledge of safety practices, forklift certification, and proficiency with MS Excel, WMS, and Kronos. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a warehouse or manufacturing setting with leadership or coordination responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred or obtainable.
• Experience with inventory systems, dispatch processes, and basic computer use (MS Excel, WMS, Kronos).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse tasks: receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, inventory movements, staging.
• Act as point of contact and role model for warehouse associates.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to meet expectations.
• Ensure orders and movements are processed accurately and on time.
• Assign work based on daily priorities and staffing.
• Promote safety policies across all activities.
• Monitor forklifts, trucks, and fabrication machinery for safe operation.
• Coordinate with drivers, logistics, and production for timely dispatch.
