Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking team players for on-site roles in our Texas operations. You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes, coordinate with crew, read loading instructions, and ensure safe, high-quality product handling.

The job requires attention to safety, good communication, and the ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced environment. Experience with heavy equipment and basic computer skills are valued, with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow procedures in English.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Coordinate with crew to ensure quality products meet specifications.
• Load finished product bundles onto trailers correctly.
• Read and execute loading instructions and distinguish product types.
• Follow standard operating procedures for loading trucks and railcars.
• Scan materials into inventory and shipments using scanners.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Work safely and wear PPE as required by company policy.
