Job summary

Commercial Tire in Tri Cities, WA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee receiving, storage, and shipping from the main warehouse, ensuring efficient distribution of tires and products.

The role requires leading a team, coordinating daily work, maintaining safety standards, performing inventory checks, and ensuring documentation accuracy. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree OR 3+ years warehouse/transportation experience.
• Forklift and fall protection certification within 30 days of entry date.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Reviewed incoming material and organizes the workflow for most effective and efficient work patterns.
• Organizes employees daily work to meet incoming and/or outgoing material needs.
• Communicates with employees to ensure understanding of daily expectations.
• Does all needed computer work to ensure proper documentation.
• Follow up with employees to make sure business needs are met.
• Ensures maintenance, appearance and condition of the warehouse complies with safety, environmental codes and city ordinances.
• Leads safety in the warehouse and ensures programs like Stretch and Flex are done daily as required.
• Operates and maintains company vehicles and equipment to CT standards, including maintenance, cleanliness, fueling and tracking fuel receipts.
• Assists with inventory audits to ensure compliance.
• Knowledgeable in all facets of a warehouse environment.
• Conducts inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
• Is continually looking for more efficient ways for the warehouse to work and makes recommendations to the supervisor.
• Trains all employees on forklift and ensures forklift certification.
• Leads the team and supports company initiatives and policies.
• Champions safe work practices and Commercial Tire safety guidelines.
• Performs all work expected of the location.
• Other duties as assigned.
