Job summary

Chattanooga Shooting Supplies (CSSI) is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and keep daily operations running safely, efficiently, and accurately.

This role is hands-on and not desk-based. You will coach employees, solve problems, improve processes, and ensure the team has what it needs to succeed while maintaining productivity and customer service standards across receiving, storage, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in typical warehouse temperatures and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees while assigning daily workloads and priorities.
• Coordinate daily receiving, storage, inventory, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and distribution activities.
• Keep the operation moving by monitoring productivity, workflow, accuracy, and daily performance expectations.
• Track employee attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain warehouse records, inventory documentation, logs, and reports.
• Monitor and improve KPI's
• Develop and maintain training materials for warehouse positions.
• Assist management with establishing and improving warehouse standards, procedures, and processes.
