Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, distribution, or related environment.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures in seasons.
• Forklift training completion and active certification.
• RF scanner proficiency and basic computer skills.
• WMS familiarity and accuracy in inventory counts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication across organizational levels.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift 21–50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operational activities.
• Oversee associates in warehousing, receiving, and shipping operations.
• Mentor and train new and existing associates on SOPs.
• Assist with forklift operation and certification.
• Coordinate unloading inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork and counts.
• Load orders according to doors and trailers.
• Research discrepancies in shipping/receiving.
• Communicate professionally with customers by phone, email, or in person.
• Prepare activity reports for site management.
• Perform quality checks, report damages, and label products.
• Report issues to supervisor/manager and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security in the warehouse.
• Direct work-team operations and assist with productivity and payroll records.
• Assist with scheduling and workforce planning.
• Ensure schedules and assignments are implemented and completed.
