Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead I in Texas to manage the assigned work area, train staff, and coordinate activities on the warehouse floor. The role involves leading a team, ensuring safety, and delivering quality results while liaising with customers and onsite management.

The position requires hands-on leadership, ability to work shifts including nights and weekends, and strong organizational skills. A forklift is preferred and familiarity with scanners and tablets is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities.
• Comfortable working with scanners and tablets for data entry.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Safety mindset.
• Willingness to work various shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection process for the assigned tables and customer products.
• Lead by example and maintain organization and housekeeping in the facility.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and incidents reported promptly.
• Coordinate shift start activities and ensure tools and materials are available.
• Provide on-the-job training for new instructions and onboarding.
• Interact with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and timely communication.
• Document and report daily activities and results.
