Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

  • Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
  • Overtime Pay $30.00 per hour
  • Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One or more years of powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Previous team lead experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of RF scanners required
  • Valid forklift operator's license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Bilingual skills (for Québec locations only)
Responsibilities
  • Lead and improve operational efficiency
  • Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
  • Organize and allocate resources and daily work duties
  • Motivate and guide team members to meet KPIs
  • Provide orientation and necessary tools for employees
  • Promote health and safety practices
  • Handle warehouse paperwork
  • Complete daily reports and propose operational improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
