Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred; three years in a production environment ideal.
• Experience in food distribution/warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and time management abilities.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with shift employees regarding expectations and safety issues.
• Observe performance and provide feedback on methods and productivity.
• Participate in communicating general company information.
• Address employee questions and complaints to maintain a positive environment.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and adjust as needed to balance stock.
• Ensure procedures and pay-for-performance policies are followed fairly.
• Post production information to reflect performance vs. minimums and incentives.
• Enforce company rules, safety and sanitation policies; orient new associates.
