Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for the 2nd shift in Fountain Inn, SC. You will lead daily warehouse operations, train and support team members, and ensure safety and quality standards while coordinating with customers to maintain smooth operations.

The role is hands-on and requires a strong leader capable of growing with the company, handling up to 15 team members and overseeing shift start activities, tool availability, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Reliable attendance is an essential part of this position.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is an asset – training available.
• Comfortable working with scanners and tablets for data keeping and time entries.
• Previous professional interactions with customers and/or vendors.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and customer product inspection for the assigned tables.
• Lead by example, stay organized, maintain good housekeeping in all areas.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met and assist customers to keep operations smooth.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions when applicable.
• Be accountable for personnel assigned to specific jobs and coordinate shift start activities.
• Ensure tools, materials and PPE are available for job completion and proper documentation daily.
