Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift objects as needed.
• Willingness to support store operations and safety procedures.
• Prior retail or thrift store exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify saleable merchandise and apply Dakota standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Assist with opening/closing and on-site safety as needed.
• Coordinate with team and store management for smooth operations.
• Communicate mission alignment of the Ranch with thrift store activities.
• Support with loss prevention and safety protocols.
• Work cooperatively to maintain clean, organized sales floors.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of styles and trends and the ability to identify saleable merchandise.
• Identifies and recognizes saleable goods in accordance with Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch standards.
• Lead by example in providing outstanding service to enhance the customer experience.
• Responsible for providing leadership support when the manager and assistant manager are off-site and conducting opening/closing of the warehouse when needed.
• Work closely with other team members and communicate clearly with the store management when needed.
• Responsible for assisting with on-site facility and employee safety and security.
• Understands and communicates the relationship between the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch mission and Thrift Stores/Warehouses.

Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift, stoop, bend, and twist.
