Job summary

Fidelitone is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead in Manassas, VA to plan, organize and coordinate daily warehouse operations in our Last Mile department. You will guide a team, monitor activities, and ensure on-time, accurate shipments while upholding safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, experience in supply chain or 3PL, and proficiency with Excel and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or 3PL.
• Proficient with Excel and time-tracking tools.
• Experience using warehouse systems and scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for daily work activities in receiving, replenishment, and outbound shipments to ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with supervisor to establish and implement work schedules and ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Coach and motivate associates; lead by example and conduct performance evaluations as needed.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards; maintain inventory accuracy and orderly warehouse conditions.

Warehouse Team Lead

Department: Operations - Last Mile

Compensation: $26.00 / hour

Description

Plans, organizes, monitors, coordinate activities of workers in all areas. Ensures a smooth and consistent operation so orders are shipped in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accountable for daily work activities in areas such as receiving, replenishment, and/or outbound shipments to ensure we are customer-centric and meet contractual SLA's on a daily basis.
• Will work in assigned departments with warehouse employees, as needed, to ensure areas such as receiving, replenishment, and/or outbound shipments have met contractual SLA's on a daily basis.
• Will collaborate with supervisor to establish work schedules to ensure schedules are correctly implemented and work activities are completed properly.
• Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in coaching and disciplining associates. Lead by example.
• Will collaborate with supervisor to complete employees' skill and gap analysis. From that analysis will continue to collaborate with the supervisor to develop an action plan to provide coaching and feedback on a continual basis.
• Will collaborate with supervisor to complete and deliver performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as well as documenting performance (positive and corrective).
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Will be accountable to study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
• Work within the guidelines that have been established and will make recommendations for changes when necessary.
• Will collaborate with other Team Leads and Supervisors to ensure coordination of other warehouse activities.
• Ensure correct shipment of orders and hazardous material orders.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment.
• May assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Maintain inventory database. Ensure the optimal utilization of space.
• Will be accountable to maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
• Will collaborate with supervisor to ensure employees are following all policies i.e. uniform, safety, attendance, etc.
• Approve timecards and collaborate with supervisor to ensure daily hours worked, time off requests, and other payroll functions are submitted in a timely manner.

Required Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or 3PL.
• Computer aptitude. Able to use Microsoft Outlook and ADP for timecards.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills (labor tracking).
• AS400/ASW and RF scan gun experience a plus.
