Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is recruiting a Warehouse Team Lead in Albert Lea, MN to oversee daily operations in the Distribution Center and ensure accurate processing of goods to meet goals and customer expectations.

The role will supervise and train a team, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety and quality standards. Valid forklift certification is preferred; strong leadership and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of distribution center associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Allocate tasks and prioritize work assignments to optimize efficiency and meet production targets.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and team activities.
• Collaborate with other team leaders and management to streamline processes and improve overall DC operations.
• Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and physical inventory.
• Communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, and other departments

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a designated team within the Distribution Center, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of goods to meet operational goals and customer expectations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Wage: $25.64/HR
Type: Direct Hire
