Job summary

Keefe Group in Bridgeton, MO is hiring an Operations Team Lead to guide the Bulk Shipping Team in daily outbound orders. The role is on-site in the warehouse, reporting to the operations manager and focusing on training, inventory, and process improvements.

Weekly production and attendance bonuses of $125 are offered, with shift Mon-Fri 6:00am–2:30pm and overtime as needed. The company emphasizes growth, benefits, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent training or experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read safety rules, procedures and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.
• Ability to speak before groups of people.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic warehouse equipment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience leading a team of regular and temporary staff.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Bulk Shipping Team to complete daily outbound orders.
• On-site warehouse leadership under the operations manager.
• Train new team members and support onboarding.
• Ensure daily checkout/return of knives, scan guns, radios.
• Maintain inventory records and complete reports.
• Review dashboards and communicate priority tasks to management.

About This Position

***Weekly production and attendance bonus of $125***

The Operations Team Lead will guide the Bulk Shipping Team in completing daily outbound customer orders.

You will work onsite in the warehouse. You will report to the operations manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Assist and manage training of new team members.
• Make sure team members are daily checking out and returning knives, scan guns, radios.
• Maintain working knowledge of all phases of your department operations.
• Confirm that you tender, select and load orders.
• Make sure employees are working where needed and employees are staying busy.
• Assist to maintain accurate inventories of all products.
• Complete required reporting.
• Make sure Dashboard is checked and cleared out daily.
• Provide recommendations on areas of improvement.
• Document and inform Management of all priority tasks and personnel problems.
• Report any problems, discrepancies, issues to Management promptly with written documentation.
• Help with general upkeep of all areas/equipment/products.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver license.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have Familiarity Microsoft office ,word/excel/PowerPoint
• Must have background in leading a team of Full time and Guest (Temporary) employees
