Job summary

Haugland Group, a civil infrastructure and energy construction company based in Long Island, NY, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Associate to support our St. Thomas, VI warehouse location.

The right candidate will be self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and committed to safety and efficiency. The role involves general warehouse duties, equipment prep, inventory control, and collaboration with field crews.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse and/or logistics experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with vehicles and equipment is preferred.
• Any prior experience operating equipment valued.
• Must be willing and able to lift more than 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties including laboring, driving, and organizing inventory.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials, and ensuring readiness of tools and supplies.
• Organize and maintain warehouse operations to support routine work.
• Unload, palletize, and store materials accurately and efficiently.
• Operate dollies and pallet jacks to safely move heavy equipment and boxes.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure readiness for field deployment.
• Work closely with field crews and supervisors to stage and dispatch materials and vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company safety standards.
• Support inventory tracking, cycle counts, and reordering of supplies and tools.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
