Western Post Group Logistics in Joliet is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team in maintaining safe, accurate, and efficient workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse operations, leadership, inventory management, WMS, and cross-functional coordination with procurement, transportation, and customer service.

This role is onsite; English and Mandarin bilingual is a plus.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team in maintaining safe, accurate, and efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse operations, team leadership, inventory management, WMS, and logistics coordination. Experience with overseas warehouses, 3PL, fulfillment, distribution, or e-commerce operations is highly preferred.

This position is ideal for a warehouse leader who can effectively manage day-to-day activities, develop team members, identify operational issues, and work cross-functionally to improve overall warehouse performance.

Compensation: $60,000–$100,000+ per year, depending on experience and whether the candidate is hired at the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager level.

These positions are eligible for OPT and H-1B sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse associates to maintain productivity, accuracy, and operational standards.
• Monitor daily workflows and ensure warehouse activities are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Coordinate with inventory, supply chain, procurement, transportation, logistics, and customer service teams to support smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory activity and help maintain accurate inventory records while addressing discrepancies as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support warehouse operations, track inventory movements, and maintain accurate operational data.
• Prepare and review warehouse performance reports, KPIs, productivity metrics, and inventory-related reports.
• Monitor team productivity and operational performance and take corrective action when necessary.
• Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, task assignments, and labor allocation based on business needs.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and support process improvements to increase productivity, accuracy, and overall efficiency.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
• Communicate operational updates, challenges, and potential issues to management in a timely manner.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of general warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound processes.
• Experience with warehouse inventory management and operational workflows.
• Experience using WMS or warehouse management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Experience in 3PL, fulfillment, distribution, e-commerce, or overseas warehouse operations is highly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and support operational scheduling requirements as needed.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising both inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Experience in a large-scale fulfillment or distribution center.
• Experience with KPI tracking, productivity management, and workforce planning.
• Experience with process improvement and SOP implementation.
