Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead package handlers in a busy warehouse, focusing on safety, productivity and attendance. This role develops teams, ensures compliance with policies, and drives continuous improvement across the department.

Applicants should have strong communication skills, be able to lift 70 lbs, and possess a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent. Management experience is preferred and a permanent employee is sought.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent – Preferred.
• Management experience – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises package handlers and trains workgroups on safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service and organization.
• Fosters a positive, team-oriented environment and promotes proactive communication.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, training materials, evaluations and coaching for staff.
