Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Elgin, IL, to oversee receiving, processing, and distribution while driving safety and performance. You will lead a team, ensure accurate records, and report to the Branch Operations Manager in a fast-paced setting.

The role rewards customer focus and continuous improvement, with opportunities for growth within a global building products leader. Strong leadership and SAP/ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with SAP / ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with math, computers, and typing.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and accurately reading and writing measurements, including fractions.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, processing, and distribution operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Oversee safety, quality, performance, and customer experience, maintaining accurate operational records.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and PPE, upholding health, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Train, coach, and motivate warehouse employees; manage performance through feedback and development.
• Achieve performance goals through space utilization, inventory accuracy, and workflow optimization.
