Job summary

Lineage in Chicago is seeking a warehouse supervisor to plan, assign, and direct daily work for warehouse associates, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards for customers and the company.

The role involves handling inspections, equipment checks, inbound/outbound shipments, and team coaching, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, onsite position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels, can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area.
• Report defective or damaged products and follow up with corrective action.
• Manage warehouse associate responsibilities including loading/unloading and forklift operation.
• Handle and document daily inspections including equipment and inbound/outbound trailer inspections.
• Check inbound/outbound shipments for compliance and report discrepancies.
• Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service.
• Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates.
