Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Willoughby, OH to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure safety and efficiency, and lead a team under the direction of an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include labor scheduling, inbound/outbound shipment management, and generating productivity reports. The role requires forklift certification, OSHA compliance, and a focus on continuous improvement through 5S and the ACI model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse.
• Experience with warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution operations.
• Ability to schedule labor and carriers.
• Forklift certified and familiar with OSHA safety standards.
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and supervise transactional operations.
• Coordinate unloading of shipments.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipment accuracy.
• Prepare warehouse productivity reports.
• Manage safety, 5S Lean, CT-PAT compliance.
• Lead and train subordinates; performance reviews.
• Monitor attendance and staffing.
