Job summary

Iberia Foods LLC in Palmer, MA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, shipping and warehousing operations in our warehouse. The role includes setting up layouts, enforcing policies, and ensuring safety and compliance.

The supervisor will be hands-on and able to operate a forklift when needed. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience, 3+ years of supervisory work, and familiarity with warehouse software and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with 5 years of warehouse experience along with 2-3 years supervisory experience or any combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Supervisory experience: Minimum 3 years.
• Food Industry experience preferred.
• Direct Store Delivery experience is a plus but can be trained for right person.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
• Recruit, select, onboard and motivate employees.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.).
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
