Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate with 5 years of warehouse experience and 2–3 years supervisory experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory experience: minimum 3 years.
• Food industry experience preferred.
• DSD experience a plus but can be trained for right person.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to warehousing, handling and shipping regulations.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene and security standards.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• Plan work routes, assign tasks and appraise results.
• Recruit, orient, coach and motivate staff.
• Produce reports and statistics (IN/OUT status reports, dead stock).
• Receive feedback and monitor service quality.
