Job summary

Keller Logistics Group, headquartered in Defiance, Ohio, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, focusing on inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and safety. This on-site role requires coordinating labor, training staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and customer requirements.

Lead and develop warehouse staff, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records while partnering with HR on onboarding and performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years warehouse leadership experience preferred.
• WMS and handheld scanner experience.
• Must obtain Industrial Truck Certification through in-house training.
• Must be willing to work overtime weekends and holidays as requested.
• Occasional travel may be required for training, company events, or site visits.
• PPE as required by each facility – refer to handbook for specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse staff and maintain regular communication with the Warehouse Manager.
• Oversee inventory control, shipping, and receiving to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts, perform cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor receiving/shipping schedules, proper unloading/loading of materials.
• Maintain payroll records, timecards, and attendance policies in coordination with HR.
• Coordinate onboarding and safety training for new hires; track retraining.
• Lead forklift training and daily safety checks; enforce equipment safety.
• Lead daily shift huddle meetings to review KPIs and safety.
• Lead and participate in accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Build positive customer relationships and manage all warehouse functions efficiently.
