Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Hickory, NC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, order pulling, loading, and related paperwork for next-day delivery. You will supervise administrative staff, set standards, train, hire, and evaluate performance while ensuring accurate orders and proper stock rotation.

You will coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on pick planning, leverage the warehouse management system to boost productivity, and uphold health and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 2–4 years of warehouse or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift and completes all necessary paperwork.
• Ensures proper stock rotation and FIFO procedures for received inventory.
• Coaches staff to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes the warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity.
• Maintains building security and health and safety program compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
